Daft Punk Unchained: documentary details unveiled

Daft Punk Unchained, a TV documentary produced by Canal+ and the BBC about the most famous French Touch duo, will be broadcast on June 24th.

Daft Punk Unchained  is the first documentary totally dedicated to the most famous Electronic French duo in the history of music. Directed by Hervé Martin Delpierre, who also wrote the screenplay with Marina Rozenman, the documentary traces the extraordinary rise of the robots and features collaborators such as Pharrell, Nile Rodgers, Giorgio Moroder, Kanye West, Pete Tong and Pedro Winter, who was Daft Punk’s Manager from 1996 to 2008.

The Original soundtrack of Daft Punk Unchained was composed by Joseph Trapanese, who worked with Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter on the recording of the Tron: Legacy soundtrack released in 2010.

Daft Punk Unchained will be broadcast in France on Canal+ on June 24th. International release dates should be announced at a later stage. Short mysterious video teasers of the documentary have been recently revealed:
